Innovation Award

In this month’s scientific release, the 2021 ACPSEM Innovation Award winner, Dr Rance Tino, continues his 3D print series.

His research work involved segmenting CT datasets to extract soft-, bone-, and lung-tissue volumes. By developing a low-cost 3D printer, he was able to manufacture simulated anthropomorphic phantoms for dose quality assurance and further research purposes.

3D printing is one of the most rapidly emerging and fast adapted affordable technologies for manufacturing custom-made imaging and therapy phantoms…………………………►►►Read more
