Lois has been awarded this prize in recognition of the contribution she has made to reinforce and secure the vitality and prosperity of the ACPSEM such that it can continue to deliver the services for which it has become renowned. Without the dedication and commitment of members such as Lois, the ACPSEM would not be in the position to deliver on its objectives. For more than two decades she has contributed significantly to the ACPSEM, with active participation in a wide range of projects and initiatives that have driven the evolution of the ACPSEM from a member run organisation to the professionally run body it is today – offering world-class training, registration, and member support services across several sub-specialties of physical sciences.
Sincerely,
Kym Rykers,
President, Australasian College of Physical Sciences and Engineers (ACPSEM)
