AFOMP is the Asia-Oceanic Federation of Organisation of Medical Physics. APSIG is an AFOMP partner with AFOMP and works with resource-deprived radiology health services across the Asian region to boost knowledge, coordination, and regional cooperation in the delivery of safe and effective medical physics-related treatments.
In 2020 AFOMP celebrates 20 years of developing and promoting the medical physics community throughout Asia-Oceania. AFOMP provides communications channels to its members, offers an annual conference (AOCMP), and supports knowledge-sharing and growth of the profession through newsletters, journals, policy statements, advocacy, and awards and orations.
