(cancer patients, their families, cancer support groups and students (basic-level knowledge exchange)
Despite the volume of medical information available, the Foundation considers that there’s inadequate healthcare technical information of sufficient scientific depth for newly diagnosed patients having to make informed decisions on which technology to choose.
The Better Healthcare Technology website provides easy access to patient-friendly information that describes the technical and scientific aspects of the cancer treatment.
This provides patients and their family valuable support when making a more informed decision about their medical treatment options and, hopefully, reduced anxiety when deciding the choice of technology treatment.
