Who we are
Our website address is: https://betterhealthcaretechnology.org.
The Better Healthcare Technology Foundation aims to engage the general public with health professionals through this website. It is designed to provide an efficient information pipeline to members of the public, our patients, donors and volunteers. The website has blogs and information sections that provide ample opportunity for question, answers, education and information on the progress of Foundation projects and special initiatives. There is a particular emphasis on reporting the latest and greatest new healthcare techniques and technology. The Foundation seeks to encourage work on tomorrow’s research, development and technology today. In doing so, it ensures that our patients receive the most up-to-date healthcare as it evolves into clinical practice.
The Foundation supports physics, engineering or other associated science initiatives in medicine that lead to innovative new techniques or technology and directly benefits patients in Australian, New Zealand and Asia Pacific (APAC) hospitals. Cancer care, methods of diagnostic imaging and applied engineering and physics in clinical medicine are our major areas of activity. The Foundation seeks to widen physics, engineering, and associated sciences in medicine activities to all clinical research and development using its expertise combined with the new technology and methods of the day.
