With the Engineering and Physical Sciences in Medicine (EPSM) Conference due to be held in Perth later this year, it’s appropriate to celebrate two of the original Western Australian pioneers and Founding members of ACPSEM. Both set up Departments in the profession – Departments that are still strong and highly respected centres operating in Royal Perth Hospital and the Perth Medical Centre (previously Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital).
